Modeled on the Community-Campus Partnerships for Health's Annual Award, UCSF' Excellence in Partnership Award is awarded at the UCP Annual Partnerships Celebration each fall, the Excellence in Partnership Award recognizes exemplary partnerships between San Francisco communities and UCSF that build on each other’s strength to improve higher education, civic engagement, and the overall health of communities.
To be eligible, the applicant must be an established partnership involving one or more community partners and UCSF. By “community partner” we mean a San Francisco serving organization or agency outside of UCSF that contributes to the partnership. They include non-profit community-based organizations; faith-based organizations; public sector agencies; and voluntary associations, civic and citizen groups. By “UCSF partner” we mean UCSF affiliated administrators, faculty, staff, students, residents, postdoctorals, and fellows that contribute to the partnership.
